O God, you are my God, I seek you,
My soul hungers and thirsts for you.
O God of my salvation,
You are the hope of the world.

O Lord, hear my plea,
You came into this world to seek out and save the lost.
O Lord, deliver me, Be my rock of refuge,
My strong fortress to save me.

God my Savior, do not reject me or forsake me,
Help me, save me, forgive my sins.
O Lord my God, I long for your salvation,
Save me according to your steadfast love.

O Lord, lead me in your truth, and teach me,
For my eyes have seen your salvation.
You are my Shepherd, carry me forever.
I will proclaim your salvation all my days.

Have mercy upon me O God
Although you know all my transgressions
Pour your holy spirit upon me
Washing my sins away

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
Inscribe your words upon my heart
So that I can ever know you.

I give my heart to you.
Fill me with the joy of your salvation
Open my lips and mind
Let me proclaim your words
and teach your ways to all who seek you.

Lord, before you came
The world was without light
We stumbled in darkness
Lost unable to find our way.

Then you came into our world
A light to the nations
Opening the eyes of the blind
Turning our darkness to light
Leading us to the path

My Lord and my God
You are my light and my salvation
In your light, I see light
A light that banishes all darkness
This season, let me walk with you

I seek, I ask to dwell with you and in you.
In your light, I know your loving kindness
Bless my soul and teach me your ways
Following you I may leave my darkness
And walk into the light of eternal life.

Most High glorious God
I live in a world of uncertainty and danger.
You are my comfort, my shield and refuge.
Please surround me with your love.

My God in whom I trust
You are all knowing and all powerful.
Please help me and protect me.
Remove my fears and anxiety, giving me your peace.

Abba, As I walk with Jesus this lent
Please protect me from evil’s test.
Fill my heart and mind with your words.
That with your grace, I may withstand the tempter.

O Holy One,
Help me to proclaim your Salvation
Make me a better witness so that my
Words and actions testify to the glory of your name.
Amen
