Saint Benedict, join your prayers to mine before our loving God. Pray that my days may have room for silence, honest work and attentive prayer. Help me welcome others without resentment and carry out ordinary responsibilities with care. When distraction scatters my thoughts, guide me back to what is necessary. Ask God to make our home a place of peace, wise boundaries and generous hospitality. Intercede for the intentions I now hold in silence, especially for those who have no one to pray with them. May every grace we receive draw us closer to Jesus and make us more ready to serve our neighbour. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
