Heavenly Father, bless parents in the daily work of loving, teaching and protecting their children. Give them patience when they are tired, wisdom when decisions are difficult, and humility to apologize when they make mistakes. Strengthen single parents and those carrying responsibilities without enough support. Help families find practical assistance, time for rest and trustworthy companionship. May parents nurture faith without fear, discipline without humiliation, and love that helps each child grow in dignity. Grant what is truly good, and help me cooperate with your grace through wise and loving action. Keep me close to Jesus in hope and patience. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
