Saint Teresa of Avila, join your prayers to mine before our loving God. Pray that I may make time for friendship with God amid the demands of everyday life. When prayer feels dry or distracted, help me remain faithful without pretending to be stronger than I am. Ask Jesus to teach me humility, courage and practical love, so that quiet prayer bears fruit in patient service to others. Intercede for the intentions I now hold in silence, especially for those who have no one to pray with them. May every grace we receive draw us closer to Jesus and make us more ready to serve our neighbour. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
