Eternal Father, receive our prayers for all the faithful departed: our relatives, friends, neighbours, benefactors and the people whose names we do not know. Forgive their sins and welcome them into the light of your face. Remember those who died alone, those lost in violence or disaster, and those whose families still wait for answers. Comfort the living and strengthen our communion in Christ, whose resurrection opens the way to everlasting life. Grant what is truly good, and help me cooperate with your grace through wise and loving action. Keep me close to Jesus in hope and patience. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
