Lord Jesus, strengthen priests in prayer, service and fidelity to their vocation. Help them celebrate the sacraments reverently, preach with sincerity and welcome those seeking your mercy. Give them wise friendships, healthy rest and courage to ask for help. Protect their communities from misuse of power, and guide every priest to act with transparency and care. Comfort those who are lonely, ill or discouraged, and renew their love for the people they are called to serve. Grant what is truly good, and help me cooperate with your grace through wise and loving action. Keep me close to Jesus in hope and patience. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
