Prayer for Vocations

Let us gather in the presence of God, remembering those who pray with us and those who cannot be here. We bring our gratitude, our needs, and our willingness to care for one another.

God of love, unite our hearts in prayer and teach us to serve you together.

Lord of the harvest, call women and men to follow you with generous hearts in every vocation. Raise up faithful priests, deacons and religious, and bless marriages and single lives dedicated to your service. Help those discerning their future listen in freedom, seek wise guidance and grow in maturity. Protect them from pressure and from fear of disappointing others. May our communities make space for their gifts and offer good examples of joyful, responsible Christian life. Grant what is truly good, and help me cooperate with your grace through wise and loving action. Keep me close to Jesus in hope and patience. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
