Holy Spirit, renew the Church in the love of Jesus Christ. Heal divisions, expose dishonesty and lead us to repentance where our failures have caused harm. Protect the vulnerable and help us listen to those who have been ignored or wounded. Strengthen our worship, deepen our understanding of Scripture, and make our communities places of welcome and service. Unite different gifts in one mission, so that our life together points toward the mercy and truth of the Gospel. Grant what is truly good, and help me cooperate with your grace through wise and loving action. Keep me close to Jesus in hope and patience. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
