Tungkol sa panalanging ito
This original lay prayer dedicates the use of a religious object to prayerful living. It does not claim to perform an official blessing; ask your parish about the appropriate blessing.
Teksto ng panalangin
Lord Jesus, thank you for the signs that help us remember your presence and the communion of your saints. As we use this cross, rosary, medal, image or other devotional object, turn our hearts toward you. Keep us from treating it as a charm or trusting in it apart from faith and love. May it remind us to pray, act with compassion and remain faithful to the Gospel. Help us care for sacred things respectfully and share their meaning with gentleness. Bless the person who will use this object with hope and a generous heart. Amen.
Let us gather in the presence of God, remembering those who pray with us and those who cannot be here. We bring our gratitude, our needs, and our willingness to care for one another.
God of love, unite our hearts in prayer and teach us to serve you together.

Community intentions
For those who use these devotional objects, deepen faith in you and help each reminder lead to prayer and loving action.
Lord, hear our prayer, and help us become instruments of your mercy.
Protect us from superstition or pride; teach us to honour sacred things while giving attentive care to the people made in your image.
Lord, hear our prayer, and help us become instruments of your mercy.
Pause for silent prayer. Intentions may be offered aloud freely; no one is required to share.
For the intentions spoken and those held quietly in our hearts, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, receive our prayer and sustain us in your love.
Let us entrust ourselves and those for whom we have prayed to the Father.
Merciful Father, receive our prayer through Jesus Christ. Where we can offer help, make us willing; where we must wait, give us patience. Keep us attentive to one another beyond this gathering. May the grace of this prayer take root in our homes, our work, and our choices, so that your love becomes visible through our lives. Amen.
