Merciful Father, I come before you without excuses. You know the choices that have wounded others and drawn me away from you. Give me the courage to name my sins truthfully and the humility to seek forgiveness. Help me make amends where I can, accept correction, and change the habits that lead me into harm. Do not let shame keep me from your love. Lead me to reconciliation and renew my heart through Jesus Christ. May my repentance become visible in patient, honest and compassionate living. Amen.
