About this prayer

The Angelus recalls the announcement to Mary and the mystery of the Word made flesh. It is traditionally prayed in the morning, at noon and in the evening. A Hail Mary follows each of the first three responses. During the Easter season, the Regina Caeli is customarily prayed instead.
